Individual Volleyball Coaching
Volleyball has been my main sport focus for over 15 years. I started playing volleyball in high school and fell in love with it. After graduating from Mt. Boucherie, I went to the University of Calgary to play for 2 years, and transferred to Trinity Western University to play another 2 years, before finishing my studies at U of C. I coached for 4 years in Calgary after finishing playing, but the desire to play the game wasn't finished in me. I went to Germany and played in the second league for one year, returning to Canada in 2009 and began my coaching again with KVC in 2011.
As I lay the player in me down to rest, my passion for coaching youth has grown all the more. I drive to develop a high performance set of volleyball skills in high school players. Combining watching human movement and perfecting optimal position, I strive to emulate the skills professionals exucute at the highest level of competition. Getting by is not good enough: I want to empower a high level of skill in all players so that no matter the level of competition, the player will have the confidence to execute any given skill.
